Default Manual Pitch control for Martinez, NAZA and DX7s

Does anyone have this combo and know how to get it working? I think I know where the connections go from the NAZA to the Martinez, but how does the naza get the signal from my rotating aux 2 knob? I am lost... please help

I heard they fixed issues with straight down in v49 but I have only tried point it down about half way. Is it not possible for you to point it down or does the gimbal not function correctly when you point down
