Default Will mCX2 controller work?

Does anyone know if the mCX2 controller will work with the basic Nano QX?

I want to take it with me on a trip but don't want to pack an expensive DX8 transmitter.

Tried it today and it works. Both it and my new inductix. Crazy thing though, both have severe aft drift (trims zeroized).

Any ideas?

Bad pot quality and/or aging problems...

Tried to simply trim it out? Should not bother on quads...

Might sound ridiculous but grab a level or get a level app on your phone and make sure it is 100% level when you plug the battery in see if that helps. I have a ton of these and you will get a drift if they are not bang on level. I never have and never will trim any of my quads.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

I did a very careful rebind and relevel on my counter, dead level, and it works great now. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hey no problem glad it helped, finicky little things aren't they? So I guess just always use that counter if you are at home when you fly it!

Two remaining questions...

First, after successful bind and flight, switched batteries and had to rebind. What's going on?

Secondly, noticed the red LED on the controller blinking. Searched all over and can't seem to find that explained. Do you know what it means?

Thanks,
Frank

Try binding it as usual ,turn on craft first then controller, after its bound turn off craft and controller fire up the craft 2nd when starting it all up and its already bound, not sure what the light is all about to be honest maybe just stating not connected to anything?

I think you pressed the right stick and went into low Dual Rates or something like that... for sure explained in the manual of the quad you got the controller with...

Now that you mention it, that's probably it. I was monkeying around with it and forgot what I'd done.

Good news....the 200mAh batteries I bought for the new Inductrix FPV work great! Much longer flight time.
