Default formula head question

If I have a formula x5 head, do I need a formula swash as well to install it and have it work correctly? I assume I can use the stock mainshaft. I'm selling an unused assembly and need to know.

I put a formula head on a nx4 with the old style swash and the pitch links weren't inline with the main shaft. Added the formula swash and they lined up again.

The blade grip arms for the old head and formula head are exactly the same except th formula blade grip arms have 3 different holes you can put the ball link in.

It does work. I have one on my x5 with standard round swash. No problems.
