The swash on my warp had the ball a bit two stiff, after thousands of flights, as i built the Warp as soon as it cames out and flown it very intensely in the first months, had weeks putting 100 flights on it.
I polished a bit all around the ball with grit paper 1500, it spins better now.
Put 12 flights on the warp today from low to high RPM, it's flying perfectly :b acon

Well, I'm more of a builder...15 logged flights on the Warp since May

Build..fly..crash..repeat...

Still, when you hit that perfect moment, it's all worth it

Have been giving lots of airtime to my favourite heli
It's the perfect 360. I build recently a Logo 480 and I really like it a lot, but on windy days, the warp still is the bird to go, it's rigid head isn't bothered by the gusts

I put six flights on Warp #1 last Tuesday (along with three on the 6HV-U).

Not much, since I am waiting for one stupid part from Germany since DEC 4...came out yesterday that I wrongly chose wire transfer instead of PayPal, and of course did not make any wire transfer... and my email were falling into their spam folder...

Due to schedule/weather I haven't flown the Warp in quite a while. I got the chance to fly 4 packs through it today. I forgot how much I enjoy that helicopter. It's not full of expensive electronics, doesn't require crazy head speeds, is easy on battery packs, and just flies nice.

I've been trying to decide on a 380 sized helicopter lately. I hope the heli I choose performs this good.

I had been building my new eXo following the thread posted by Scott over on the eXo forum. There were a lot of great building tips he presented so I decided that I needed to rebuild my Warp 360.

I reached out to ExperienceRC and bought some new belts, ball links, main rotor head, main shaft and a few other parts then located Scotts build thread on the Warp 360 here. It took about 3 or 4 nights but I got it finished a couple of days ago.I followed all of the building tips and recommendations from the eXo and Warp builds and applied them to the main and tail rotor rebuild. The result was very smooth movements on both assemblies.

Today the weather was fine at lunch so I took out the rebuilt Warp and put it into the air. The Warp is a good flyer and now that it's rebuilt it sounds and flys better than before. No issues whatsoever and the building tips in this forum are really excellent.

I took my Warp outside for the first time this year after fiddling with settings and transferring to another TX. Took off and flew very nicely with only a slight tail wag. Things deteriorated very quickly after I flipped it and it immediately lost power. I had forgotten to check throttle curves and, yep, it was still a linear 0-1-00. Naturally, it dropped to terra firm when I tried to pitch it up inverted (duh!).
main shaft collar slip up, main shaft slid down and destroyed tail servo horn, swash to main grip links busted and gone. That's it; blades still intact.

Ouch. Sorry to hear this. I hope you have it flying again soon.
I've been flying my Warp a lot already this year and enjoy it immensely!
I have always spooled up in normal mode with no significant negative pitch available and then immediately switch to idle up. I haven't had a problem with this yet, but I have been thinking of getting rid of normal mode altogether. Stories like this fuel that urge.

Just ordered a couple of one-way bearings, since the current one has finally died. I had around 500 flights on it plus however many the previous owner put in, so I'm not complaining.

Nice. Also changed mine after a few thousands flights
I'm not flying mine that much after getting the 480, it's much more practical as a trainer due to size and landing gear.
But it still amazes me anytime I fly it, even more after re gearing the cyclycs, zero slop in the head

Default New to me

I just got a few flights on a new to me Warp 360 , Align 360, stock 1400 KV, MKS all around, Edge tails, and my first experience with a Bavarian demon , all I can say is WOW. I probably have some tuning to do but the winds were over 25 mph , It was rocksolid, only problem I had was 3/4 collective and full elevator and bam 💥 tail would blow out. Boy was it fun... it's surprisingly fast, like speed run fast .

Crashed my warp, blade stop when coming for auto, wind was on the wrong side and on low rpm, tried to re spool it but took to long so it met the earth, on its head.
The original main shaft is still perfect, 3 servo arms broke 0 gears to change, 1 canopy post, top main bearing.
Canopy still good, main grip bearings fine this thing is a TANK.
The main shaft collar slided on the crash and destroyed the tail servo arm, big nick on the swash from the pitch links, both links broke also, one blade survived.
Very cheap crash.

It's a x3 swash.

Upon inspection it also broke the carbon cross member. It was a big hit. Main shaft slided through the collar and broke the tail servo arm.

No posts for a while but that doesn't mean the Warp is history!
Just finished repairing my Warp. It should be ready to go as soon as the weather warms up enough (I know, some of you fly Way Up North and for you "cold" is a totally different meaning, but I'm a wuss). It's been tempting to consider buying another heli around this size to add to my fleet, but this one flies so well when it's fixed that it's really not justifiable to me. My answer to the sometimes difficulty in accessing parts is to have at least 2 of each of the likely crash items on hand.

You are a wise man, PassinThru!

I am still flying my Warps-the last time being about a week and a half ago (been concentrating on the eXo these days).

Not flying mine much these days, the 480 is my go to heli due to better trainer capabilities.
But I recently upped the pinion on the stock motor to 17t and having more fun whenever I fly it.
It's a terrific machine 😉
