Default Synergy E7

Im flying a t700e at the moment and ive done all the upgades etc. I have been checking out other 90s the whiplash, tdr and others I fly light 3d and will be flying harder as i progress.I think im going with the E7 as its light and robust the recommended motor the hacker 470 kv seems to have great Ft with this heli do you have to use KSA mode on kontronic with this hacker? and can 710s be used on this heli?

Yes you should get one without a doubt the best flying 90 size E heli I've flown to date, I've only got 26 flights to date on mine with I am flying it as if I've been flying it for years. Yes you should do Mode 4 and Mode 10 (KSA) and also yes you can fly it with 710.
Light, agile, nice looking, great design, almost flies it's self.

I've got 5 flights with Hacker 470 on my E6. Used only mode 4. Seems fine doing 3D.

Great choice!

The design is night and day from your 700e.

You only need to program 1 not both.

Yes, Matt is working on a torque tube design for the E7 this month. The belt is working great!

While the TT is a bit more efficient, it also tends to be a source of vibration, noise and increased crash costs.

Still I think it's great that there will be an option.

Glad to have soon both options. However the belt is very sturdy and efficient.

Completely agree, the new Synergy belt system is fantastic! Even Matt doesn't want a torque tube, but he's doing one just because people have convinced themselves its better based on older belt system designs.

Really? A torque tube is coming? While building my E7 I noticed there was only one additional hole in the frame in the area where a torque tube could be mounted. That made me figure that he scrapped the idea of the TT option. Glad to hear it is still in the plans. The belt does work exceptionally well if you have a smooth running governor/motor combination.

Well the E7 will be one of the only 700e helis offering both options, that's a plus in my book.

All I know is the belt Heli's I have have a lot less vibration than my torque tube heli's. but this is on a Logo 500SE. I think the argument for Torque Tube is less drag for autorotations but I am not sure that is in fact true.
So what's the argument for Torque Tube?

All I know is I will miss the sliding battery tray from my 700E, but that's all I will miss.
