Default Crash9 - Question on your setup :)

Hey Crash9,
I was looking at your site and was wondering what that video monitor/box config you have is and where did you get that?

I picked up the Headplay system but they did a really bad job on the connector that goes from the headgear to the liberator box, so I get the video dropping out to a blue screen if I move the wrong way. I'm not too happy with that setup so I was thinking about something like your setup where I can fly around normally, or look into the monitor for FPV. I like your setup because it deals with the sun. I can't really see anything on my little monitor. I guess I could wrap it with some carboard, but i'm lazy, and busy, (more lazy than busy), so I would rather just buy something like yours.
I also just ordered a mount from you for my GoPro HD. Damn, 5-18 days to ship!!!

This might help... I made mine using 0.60 Aluminum (I'm a sign maker by trade) ... I bought a sheetmetal break at harbor freight for $250.. and got to bending... my first one was a cardboard mock up of what i have now... my RX is sticky taped to the underside... it's a bit heavy but will never fall apart.. My patch mounts to it's own tripod. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38...e1342Large.jpg

Very nice. Thanks. I may have to visit harbor freight.
What's the max thickness that brake can handle, do you know?

I've bent 0.090in aluminum with that brake. It has two big lever pulls, and you should hold the brake down to a firm bench with C clamps. You could put longer steel conduit over the levers if you needed more leverage.
