Hi, should be no problem if the flybarless unit supports standard receivers.
I am using its "little brother", if you will, the RDS8000, with the Spirit flybarless unit. No probs, Eric.

I do not personally anymore but still use it on my planes. I have a few fellow flyers that are flying helis with them and they are a great radio . The only down fall is more wiring and you may loose some options on bank switching ect when using a conventional receiver setup.

I've been wondering about this recently myself and I'm not sure if it works. Futaba makes a PWM to SBus converter. Wouldn't it be possible to use this to essentially make any traditional receiver into a 1-wire output receiver?

I saw that converter and wondered the same thing myself. I'd love to get an answer to this one.

I only fly SD-10g and have a tons of helis and all vBAR. of course it works and it's awesome!

There's a few high end models they make that are PWM output and I run one of them with my naza. But for the rest, I run all independent ch's to the inputs..

Probably still the fastest out there in FHSS-3 mode too.
