DX7 (SPM7000) SETTINGS FOR MCPX v2

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone here is flying the mCpx v2 with the newest DX7.

I flew mine with the older gen DX6i, wrote down all the settings but when I got the DX7, none of what I had written down seemed to translate very well.

Something else I'd noticed which I'm a little bugged about, the new DX7 has a 7 point TC/PC but I can only access 5 points with the mCpx.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful.

You could use the settings for the original DX8 in the mCPX v2 manual as a guide for your DX7G2.

As for the 7-point curves, what that means is that you can choose to add two more points if you want to. By default, a new heli model will have 5-point curves. If you move the stick to a new position, you'll notice that a tiny "Add Pt" option appears at the bottom of the screen to let you add a point where the stick currently is. Note that points cannot be any closer together than 20%. In order for "Add Pt" to appear, you need to be at least that far away from an existing point.

I'll give the DX8 settings a go when I get home from work and see if I'm missing anything.

I actually did notice the add points section but it never occurred to me that that could be part of the 7pt curve feature . Come to think of it, I don't believe I actually need 7pts since I run TC and PC linear anyway.
