I found the TT umbrella gears to be extremely tight trying to get them inserted into the bearings, just exactly the way the original Aligns were when they switched over to the black gears, to the point of there being enough force to damage the bearings.

I just did the same thing as I did on the Align gears, I just wrapped the gear in 150 grit sandpaper and spun the gear inside the sandpaper until I took enough of the OD off so that the bearings would fit without having to apply excessive force. I switched to a fine grit (400) and smoothed the gear OD to get rid of the sand marks and then put the bearings on. There is still enough interference fit that the bearings don't slip, but don't move either.

The Align gears have been in service for well over 3 years with no issues at all, and thus far, I haven't seen any issues with my Logo gears either. I would say that the mesh in the gears is the equivalent of having just a tiny tick of backlash, almost identical to what I set on my pinion/main gears.
