I sent an Email to aircraft@phoenix-sim.com
and i told them that if they were to add the Compass 7HV, SAB Goblin, and Logo Extreme
that they would see a huge spike in Phoenix sim sales and most likely pull customers from the Realflight side of things. I have a lot of ideas for the simulator, but i'd love to
see them start atleast with some great new models.
I'm gonna keep emailing them to, maybe if you send them emails and have others do the same, we can get em sooner than later.

None of the models you mention are carried by Horizon Hobby. Don't hold your breath. I sent everything they needed for the 6HV over a year ago and no word on that after about 2 weeks of trading emails.

Horizon Hobby doesn't carry Mikado or Protos and those are in the sim. They also don't carry the TDR.

The only reason why Horizon Hobby models get preference is probably because of funding and/or popularity.

Those models were released before, or shortly after Horizon bought Phoenix. I'm guessing those models that are not carried by Horizon that made it into the sim were slated before Phoenix was purchased. They were probably completed and posted instead of ditching the work. You can rest assured that Horizon calls the shots. I wish somebody from the software company that makes Phoenix could chime in on this thread.

I seem to remember seeing a press release somewhere about it. I can't find it now. It's been over 6 months ago now. At the very least I believe that Horizon is the US distributor. I'll keep looking for the info.

Still no proof, but this should be an indication of some sort of allegiance between Runtime Games and Horizon Hobby:

I read that HH was the exclusive distributor but I had not read that Runtime was bought up by HH. I hope not. I can understand funding the development of new models based on HH products but buy up Runtime Games and prohibit other models that HH does not distribute would be very bad news.

You can request all you like, they require specific photographs of the models to make them. If you have all of those Helis, I envy you.

I would think they would just buy those helis to have them, or the manufacturers would donate or loan one. I've gotten the 'feel' of flying a lot of new helis from the simulator.

When this comes out, Phoenix is history tom me, mainly due to the lack of this type of support!
