Default T-Rex 550L three blades

I finally finished my new build. I'm having some tail issues, the tail it's kicking when I do hard 3D maneuvers. I just re-calibrate the esc to 2450 on governor mode. I will test tomorrow to see what else I can do to get this fixed.
Any thoughts ?

You most likely need to add some Torque precompensation (RevoMix).

http://wiki.beastx.com/index.php/Man...metermenu_F/en

I had to enable this feature, once I installed new 6200Mah 40c batteries and used XT-90S connectors.

On my Pulse 5000Mah 30c batteries this wasn't a problem.

I noticed doing hard pitch pumps the nose would go left when increasing the cyclic quickly then right when decreasing. (Just about an inch or two..)

The 550X or L both have a ton of power, so this "could" be the problem.

It's most likely just causing so much torque at times that it needs the setting listed above enabled.

Fine collective management can resolve this problem, but this is most likely not what you're looking for. (I wasn't)

Anyhow just my 2 bits, and I like your 3 bladed head, looks sweet, ordering one myself tonight.

Peace,
MajSlayer

my gut says the 3 blade head on a 6S system is loading it enough on major pitch changes to cause you a bit of bog? That causes tail speed slowdown
Precomp on the BeastX will help

Something nobody else has mentioned:

How much pitch are you running? With Trex 550's I've found that running more than the pitch in the manual can easily cause tail holding problems.

The manual basically says +/-12 max and since you're running three blades you should reduce it even further since you have an extra blade producing lift. Try 10 or 11 degrees of pitch and see if that helps.

Reducing governor response gain could help if that doesn't, and like others said you will likely need to retune gains for the tail since the setup has changed. Avoid adding tail precompensation, retune everything without it, and try to solve the problem a different way first. Precomp should be done as a last resort if nothing else works.

Thank you!! I'm running 12s set-up with 16t pinion. I found more power with that set up. the motor its 4035-530kv. I ordered a KDE 530kv motor that I want to try.

I reduced the pitch to 12 degrees 2400HP and problem fixed. I haven't been able to fly lately since the weather won't allow it. Once the weather allows I'll make a video.
