So, I added a 600 tail fin (stronger, less flex) and a DS 650 tail servo. She NOW flies like a dream. Way too much fun!

Enjoy the photos,

Here's mine. I installed a CF pushrod for the tail this today, will see how that works out Looks nice and beefy compared to the flimsy stock control rod.

Quark

You can also mount it under the receiver plate.. is much more easy if you have to get the boomblock out, will fit with the metal plate, 1mm sticky and 3mm sticky, my tail is now rock solid, even with the 620!

A few shots of a friends 550e and his maiden flight. It is his first heli over 450 size so he is very happy (also very focused as you can tell in one of the shots).

Great shots Jiharv!

I moved up from a Trex 450 and could not believe the difference. The 550E rocks man.

Thanks for sharing,

Im not gonne hide it down there

I intentionally routed the wires so the tailblock will slide right out if you remove the screws.

I personally didnt like the original position near the swash.. if it goes wrong,. maybe the gyro is gonna get hit(just like the 450... aargh)..

I have it under that rx plate, above the rear skid and those alloy skid/bottomplate holders.. should prevent the gyro from getting hit..

And this is much cooler, a guy on my club with a Hirobo shuttle, is running an piezo gyro on it(huge thingy..) askes me: Where the heck is your gyro? i said, near the receiver, and he just couldn't find it, he thought my Bec was the gyro hahahaha
