I don't know, I don't have one myself and I've lost the thread where I saw the weight. I'll look those up and add them in separately

Thanks guys, added those in.

My tail died today and stripped my belt, and while digging through my spares drawer I realised I've a carbon boom I didn't know about. That's another gram of weight that'll be coming off as I rebuild it

Fancied the carbon boom, but been a bit sceptical as it don't like vibes so was wondering if it would be a good idea, knowing what the 250 is like,

The HK-250GT Base Plate and skids w/ Skid pipes is 6.77g.

I noticed no issues with swapping out my aluminum boom for the carbon.

Hey Buzzsaw, how well do those Hobbyking skids and base fit? Do they drop straight on?

For the price even if they break they're an easy way to shave a little more weight.

What would the weight of the multipiece skids be if you remove the two alu tubes?

My heli started as an HK250GT so I have the HK frame but from what I have read the HK frames are a direct replacement for the Align, So if the base plate didn't change between the SE and the Pro it should fit no problem.

Mine have held up to a crash on a gym floor and three waist high autos due to a loose tail hub, I should throw a couple in my cart next time I order, now that I know how light they are.

Makes it easy to have a set or two on hand just incase. You should just need the base plate and skid pipes, skid nuts if you want non-slip grip

Dooh Now I get it not worth shipping on $3.00 worth of landing gear

Yah only thing thats costly on hk is shipping thats why u have to make big orders but then hk messes it up, oh the terrible paradox

Added some connector weights as I've got to get rid of the EC3's on mine. Think I'm gonna go for EC2s as I do like these little things

Gonna have to post details later when I get time, but the HK 250 skids are epic! They're not as stiff or well made as the align parts, but there a huge weight saving from those.

I've swapped to EC2 connectors and the HK skids and I'm under 307g now with stock cyclic servos :-)

Here we go:

Switching from EC3 to EC2 connectors saved me 3.3g. Then there's another 5g from the HK skids:

Align 250 baseplate & skids: 10g

HK 250 baseplate & skids: 5g

Does anybody know if there's a way I can carry on editing the first post for this thread? I'd like to keep it up to date with weights we find out, but I can't edit it any more.
