I'm guessing clone. Same drive system as Curtis' machine.

The Reaper has been out for some time already. It really didn't take them long to dump one out.

Its a shame of how Curtis is treating its current Stingray customers. I guess for their sake, I really do hope its an exact clone.

Pre-orders live for the HD-750

Price: $1,599

Airframe only, no blades. Just $400 cheaper than the Velos 880, $173 more expensive than a Henseleit TDR II, $450 more expensive than a Goblin 770 Competition, and $1000 more expensive than an MSH Max V2 airframe in the 800 size configuration.

US distributor source: http://superstitionhobbies.com/colle...kit-w-o-blades

I wonder what the Synergy 766 pricing is going to be?

Spirit just announced a new FBL unit to succeed the regular spirit.

Spirit Pro.

It addresses some of the issues with the previous Spirit namely adding ports to allow up to 3 additional power inputs. Improving the power bus, adding an internal Sbus inverter, adding an additional spektrum sat port, beefing up the processor, and beefing up the gyro to include a 3axis compass.

Info and comparison :http://spirit-system.com/details.php

I don't do pre-order. Got somewhat burned with the Spartan "beta." Still don't have up to date PC setup software.

I get where you're coming from! I was referring to the Spirit in general but I see now that from that context it seemed like I was referring to the new one

Just wanted to take a second and say THANK YOU to all you guys who have put news in here. We're swamped lately and with the unfortunate downturn of HeliDaily this news thread is a life saver.

Lets be honest... the members of this forum are some of the most up-to-date people in the hobby so by putting a small news snippet with a link in this thread helps get that news out to tens of thousands of people every month. I really appreciate it and I know al the listeners do to.

Just don't forget the link

Default New Hobby Wing ESC

Looks like HobbyWing is moving the v4 design into smaller models. 60A ESC with data logging and blue tooth capabilities. Supposed to run cooler than the previous v3 versions as well.

I love my Furion 6. Before MA went out of business, I made sure I had two complete rebuilds. Good to know spare parts are back.

Yuri Katom has posted a video of the Takumi 700 in flight!

Takumi Heli flight 1 (4 min 15 sec)

I like the sound of the drivetrain. Pretty quiet heli in general. Tail has a little chatter, but man it sounds cool!
