Default Rostock Max V2 Upgrades

Pretty excited pulled the trigger on a Rostock Max V2 kit, finally got tired of jumping through hoops to get parts printed.

Curious if anyone is running this printer and what upgrades you recommend?

Already have the stepper motor isolators on order and a hot end LED.

Everything I've read about it sounds good. It was almost my choice for a second printer. Ended up building a Kossel mini. All deltas require some calibration to get working.

I'm about halfway through the build and pretty happy with the quality. Fit and finish is really good, and the instruction manual is well written.

This is my first printer so I don't have anything else to compare to.

Regarding the calibration, I have a dial indicator that I'm going to mount up in place of the hot end. Should make calibration easier.

Since posting this I've ordered a few more goodies:

- MatterControl Touch
- Heat spreader for the Onyx Bed
- LED light ring for the platform.

I think next will be the 300mm carbon arms, but I want to print a few parts before I change the arms out.
