OHB 2016 was a great event. a lot of fun, a lot of flying and great weather .. who could ask for more.

One suggestion, there needs to be a "I crashed at OHB" sticker or shirt available for those of us pilots that ate dirt at the event.

Here are two candidates for that ;

Amazing Crash 2x Logo 700, OHB 2016 (1 min 59 sec)

Crashes at the TORCHS field are traditionally memorialized by signing and dating a rotor blade and sticking it on the roof of the pavilion.

No reports, updates, pilot count, pictures on here or RR as far as I can see.
For those of us that didn't make it, sure would be nice to know what we missed.

There were 202 registered pilots across the 4 days of the event. Saturday was, as usual, the most popular day, with a few pilots waiting for each of the 6 flight stations most of the day.

The noon sponsor demos were almost three hours, with lots of flying. There were some new products out, and we were fortunate to have strong sponsor participation once again.

There are a few threads here on HF discussing the event, the flights, and some of the memorable crashes (including a pair of Logo 700s trying to occupy the same space at the same time, with spectacular results).

Took some 500+ pictures on Friday and Saturday. In previous years I've done writeups and posted picture albums, but it was quite a lot of work.

What I can't understand is why nobody else is really posting.

Here's a small album with all the phone pictures I took. The larger cleaner pictures will follow eventually.

would be interesting if that one somehow magically showed up or was reported found. I daubt it - just hope it ended up in the water somewhere nearby.

I've got a few of you as well I think during the demo of the helibaby. It just takes time to process and upload.

Yes, everyone is welcome to take and use as needed, so long as it is not used in advertising or for profit.

Actually got to attend this event for the first time. I just started flying and was nice to see all the different vendors. Big thumbs up to all the demo pilots, that was some excellent flying. Definitely going next year!

@stone2426 -> hope to see you again at the next event -> BTW - there is a small event at the TORCH's field in spring. Not really vendors present but cool group of pilots getting together
