Next spring is crap for me, major project at work from end of February through middle of May. Will be missing all the spring fun flies I love to attend.

If you have never attended an RC event at Apache Pass you are doing yourself an injustice. This place is awesome for fun flies and a general good time. I do hope to be at Ice House in the fall.

Oh man I really hope I can make it to this one. I'm finally good enough at flying to sign up as a pilot

If you can at least hover, you're good enough. It's a great group of people.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

Just curious... Where are the RV hookups as compared to the flight line?

Northeast, at the corner of the road from Rockdale and the gravel road that run east of the east flight line. It's a small RV park that's part of the Apache Pass compound.

Last year, I just pulled up my trailer to the flight line and ran my RV off parallel 2000W generators. I still had the Ryobis back then; I'll have Hondas this year.

I'll buy you gas if you let me hook a charger up to one.

If the weather is cool enough, I should have plenty of juice. If I have to run the AC, my capacity for charging will be greatly reduced.

Corywrx, I'll be there, and you can hook up to my generator if you need to.

Looking forward to my 3rd year there!

The camp ground is very close to the flight line, or as Alan said you can dry camp on the flight line. The red area in the picture below is the camp ground. The two yellow runways is the huge area where we fly. Check things out on Google earth for a true perspective.

Thanks Jimmy! This will be my first real fun fly, and first time flying at one as well

I do believe im going to be able to come out. Figure I'll pitch a tent or some such if my wife decides not to come to save money. Are there shower, etc facilities available? And is power available? I don't have a genny.

There's a shower room down at the RV park, but no power or water on the flight lines.

There should be plenty of us with generators on the flight line to help out with charging.

Registered! Really looking forward to the event and seeing everyone again. I seem to spend a lot of time walking around and talking, so I'll have excess charging capacity as well.
