You gotta be a little careful when widening the frame with John Salt's parts. The clone he sells has a torque tube, while your 600E likely has a belt. That means you would have to convert, which costs additional money.
I would just cut the frames to allow for a larger motor. That's what I did for my 730MX.

And thanks again to everyone who took the time to offer their expertise and helpful links. (rchelicopterfun.com looks like awesome for old version Rex fliers like me).
I'm gonna stay as stock as possible for now, belt drive tail and all. I don't plan on TT'ing the tail for the flying I'm doing.

Maybe I'll actually get some flying in before I go FBL on it!
