The drive module is supposedly unique for Maverick (compared to Urukay/Kraken). "Stiffened with long mainshaft" according to SAB. At least that's what she said...

Probably not, it looks kinda neat but not enough cool factor for me to get one. I will probably get a RAW first. Just got a KSE 3 blade Kraken last month.

BK Hobbies are now taking preorders. Price $1,690 including blades ($50 more than the Urukay Genesis). Shipping date mid September.

According to Kyle, the missiles, while cheesy looking, aids the visibility of the model.

The missiles are $207

They have to be having a laugh surely, for 4 plastic toy missiles? If these were for GI Joe they would be $5
You would have to be the most dedicated of hardcore fanboy to think this good value.

I still don't understand what this is supposed to be... F3C? 3D? Scale?

I guess there'll be a market for 3d-printed (or CNC'ed) accessories that attach to the missile pod mounting holes

Some nitwit is bound to be making actually functional missiles as well...

Still laughing at the cost of the missiles. Nice add-on, with the usual SAB mark-up, lol.

I think they have gone overboard this time.

Happy Holiday weekend all!

So, I saw Kyle Stacey’s IRCHA demo and the Maverick has caught my attention…. Don’t know why, just because I guess. What is the best guess for a motor that would be not just about slow F3C Or maybe “scale” type flying? How about a 14S 4535?

Thanks for the comments.

Steve
