i'm standard setup at the moment but maybe a 13t pinion is calling my name.

mr mel's calc is saying not to go much over 2750 or so?

if i remember correctly, i'm running 2200, 2500, 2700.

2200 for takeoff/landing, 2500 for general flight, 2700 for hard 3d. however, even with 2700, i find the 3.8 tail ratio lacking, as it won't hold on hard pitch pumps. i'd like to hear others experiences about this.

I for one always install a bigger pinion to give more gov head room.
Stock gearing is always to low. Gear to your likings so your max is around 85%

Torque Precomp - F, there's normal and high but you can use custom and set what ever you need in the StudioX. Get the tail gain as high as poss, first. Still using BX right?

I checked the owb shaft and it's solid. Definitely a tail authority issue here because I have tried all I could in the Ikon and even switched to a little longer blades. I'm not going to bleed off unnecessary hs just to hold the tail.

The days or 4.7 tail ratio for Align is finished. Got a issue with the IKON start a thread, simple settings to tune up the tail.

using brain2, but had the same issue with bx as well.

the tal is too slow and/or too small. it has to deflect to a steep angle to hold on hard pumps, and because of that, the belt slips even when set to be tight. tried with 90mm blades, and those were fine going to check if 80 or 85mm can fix my problem.

2200, 2400, 2690 measured from phone app
Stock setup, HW 100 v3 esc in gov mode,
Nano-tech 3300
10% head room with no issues.
Other than the stock esc smoked during the build,Amain made it all good
VERY nice chopper, couldn't be more happy. I've had ZERO issues, Tail holds well at these speeds.
