Default Pitch gauge required?

My first crash with this heli turned out so far to be a very good learning experience overall thanks to you guys on this sight! My question is during the AR7200 set up menus "J" & "K" both appear to require pitch gauges, which one is best digital for the price for a heli of this size up to a 700 size?

I think that price maybe for the Rc logger ! The Rc logger 2 was $89 ! Its a new version with dual axis measurements. Spend the extra its easier to use .
If you can get the Rc logger 2 for $39 thats a really good price .

Just had a look on A Main $39 is the price for the Rc logger and it's on backorder .
Look at the "Rc Logger digital pitch gauge 2" $89.99 and its in stock.

I have the RC Logger 2 and used it recently to setup my 450x. It works great.

But in hindsight, I don't see that I really need the extra capabilities of the 2. The origiinal RC Logger is all I think I would need to do the setup.

I never owned the original RC Logger so can't honestly compare.

An Open Question: Is the RC Logger 2 really required to setup the Blade 450X, or does the original RC Logger give you all the capability needed for the setup?

Align has a good one. It does not have all the features of the RC Logger, but it is solid, works well, and is less expensive. It's what I use for doing setups on my 450x, and it gets the job done.

The RC logger is more than enough, I use it myself. That and a swash level is all you need.

I use the regular RC logger pitch gauge. It seems to work just fine. So far I've never thought to myself that I needed more capability from it or that I wish it did "fill in the blank".

I've found the zero set function on the RCL2 very handy , magnetically attach on top off the motor press and hold for three seconds release wait three beeps and zero is set perpendicular to Motor shaft.
Don't know if the first Rclogger does this or not?
Either way I think both units would work well, there good products !

I thank you guys a lot for the info, I went out today and bought the Align AP800 for $32.99 at my LHS. Seems to work great for the price, and now I can also use it to find the pinion angles of my car and the angle of the engine/ transmission to establish proper driveshaft angles throughout my rear suspension travel. I love having a multi-purpose tool at a fair price. Fits 200-800mm blades and has auto screen rotation too. Thanks for all the great info!
