I love my goblins and love my mikados but my favorite heli is the trex 700x. Best flying heli ive flown. Best looking heli for me is a banshee or diablo.

Almost all new heli's now the comes out fly good. There's pro and cons depending on your flights style. Also some just fly a little better than the other. A little lighter than others, but its not a deal breaker. Same heli's fly different from electronics to battery selection and set ups. Fly what you like and what you think fits your flight style. Instead of buying and selling to find the perfect heli. Thats what I see in a lot of pilots now. Fly as much as you can and learn as much. So I doesnt matter what heli you fly.

This is so true. We've long passed the days where helicopters flew SIGNIFICANTLY better than others. Seriously, at this point... pick your poison and go fly!

Some what true. Ive had some serious junk in recent helis. Loose tolerances and cheapo workmanship. Its funny though that spending more money doesnt translate into better quality. I will say the workmanship of german made helis is noticeable and they do seem to feel better in the air versus asian counterparts. I like align for asian made helis. They work, always pretty light and they r nice flying helis for the price. Its no banshee or minicopter but align is solid. I like goblin but i do think they r a little pricey for asian made helis. I wish sab would make lower priced kits without sab blades. Anyone listening.

I have to be honest I agree with the paying more and getting lower quality. I do really like the way my goblins fly but I think every one I've had to do something with. I'd also agree with the German heli thing... well at least my logo 800 had very good fit and finish on everything. That's the only German heli I have so far. I would like to see a little better qc on the goblins.

I guess that doesn't surprise me lol, but I'd put that in the category with my synergy as well, the fit and finish was really good on that as well. Where my 380 it seems like the frames never line up, even after a few crashes and new frames they always seem to be a bit off. On my 570 where you shim the mainshaft I actually had to sand the insert shorter because it was too tight. On my black nitro the center hub had very poor anodizing, lots of aluminum showing, the wholes on the boom for the rod where it mounts to the frames are not square and weren't drilled out enough, all these are somewhat minor, but other machines I have built which are still made in Asian factories still seem to have better tolerance.

Mikado has been saying their helis are made in German. Where is your source to make this statement?

Default New items coming soon

everyone makes in Asia.

everyone wants a low price and Asia is how you get a low price. it's simple economics.

how else could you get a 700 kit for $1000 and a 56" TV for $399?

Finally started to build my Thunder T.
The new fabrication facility SAB has built has really done a great job on the carbon parts.
This thing looks great and feels solid considering how light the canopy and boom are.

I just got 3 of the new quick release battery trays. Started to install one in my BT 650 and while it is really nicely made I lose my flight pack mount spot on the bottom.

Going to have to mod something to keep my battery in that location. Or make a long extension and put it on top of the main battery in front.
