I reached out to James and he is getting one more batch of tail gears made for us 700x owners. What will help is a count of how many everyone want to purchase. So reply back with a quantity asap so we can get enough made. For simplicity use the following guide...
A=BLH5738 tail pinion straight drive gear
B=BLH5739 tail pinion 25t bevel gear
C=BLH5740 torque tube 24t bevel gear
D=BLH5741 tail shaft bevel gear

So post the numbers you would want like this...
A 2, B 6, C 6, D 6

I don't have a 550x, so I don't know the status of those parts.

The whole reason for this post is to get an idea of how many the community needs to have ample spares on the last batch. Honestly, I'm good, I'm not too worried But in efforts to keep others in the air longer I did what I could to get some made. I went as far as to buy a spare airframe in addition to the packaged parts I have as spares so I can hopefully keep flying for years to come. Would I buy more if I could? Yes. Would I sell some to keep others in the air? Yes. Do I have enough to do that now? No.

Granted, I was less than clear. By "you", I really meant the powers that be at Horizon/Blade. Will they extend that same "olive branch" to the disenfranchised 550X owners whom they angered with the same early discontinuation move when those critical parts dry up completely? James Haley? Care to comment?

Guess I should have been more clear on my question. I'm asking if Horizon Hobby did a "batch run" for the four gears mentioned in the ops original post. Thanks & appreciate the 2 responses.
