$60 blade 230 safe gyro on gaui x2 with bailout

Anyone tried this? Is this doable? 60$ is cheap compared to a 300$ vbar or microbeast pro?

I had a thought about using it on a Blade 300x but was quickly reminded the unit in the 230s is ment to drive a tail motor not a tail servo and people said it won't work. I never tried it. i ended up trading my 230s.
Why not just buy a used AR7200? they work well.i seen a video somewhere about a firmware update you can buy? and have bailout

eznov neuron has a rescue mode , it works surprisingly well from any attitude it rights itself and climbs for a couple of seconds, it is $150 from heli direct I believe

I have an ar7200 but i read you cannot upgrade this version to bailout. neuron sounds great though expensive

is that a stand alone unit that works with? what brand radio? or does it hook inline with any RX? Tareq was flying the crap out of it, of course that man could fly a brick

I fly futaba but I believe there are some ports on the side for spectrum , its from the bloke that developed the ikon /brain

That is correct, only the AR7210 has bailout, microbeast might have a self level type mode but I can't remember for sure.

Ikon/brain is coming out with rescue and already has self level, most bang for the buck and tons of ppl love them. Spirit also gives you alot for the price but I have seen some posts from ppl having issues with setup and other things. Plus I'm not sure Spirit will fit on the x2, might have to get the micro ikon.
