Video RX / antennal / goggles Help
Good morning all, at least its morning here anyway.
Ive been flying 3d helis for a while and have finally delved into the challenge of quads (specifically race quads) and need some help with first time video transmission / goggle setup. My current setup is a 200B Bapu xhover race drone Stock motors, esc's' Xracer f303 controller frsky tfr4SB receiver / futaba 14sg transmitter and just bought a foxeer raceband 5.8 600mv Video transmitter (40ch). Ive maidened the xhover and she flies generally okay (using some initial pid values i managed to find online). Ive also been practicing on liftoff steam simulator. Have 3 flight modes (heading hold / angle and self leveling enabled) currently setup but only flown in self leveling legacy setup at moment as line of site and no goggles. So now im coming to the fpv side of things and looking to make a cost effective but good start (being my first experience). Am planning to get the hobbyking quanam V2 pro from a price perspective as it seems to be great value at $50AU. I will keep this when i one day upgrade to the headplay or dominator FS in the future assuming i continue to enjoy FPV. looking for advice / options / personal experience regarding a low cost / good setup for receiver and antenna to provide the best flexibility in future and consideration of the below. - good value / low cost - range - low video transmission latency - working with my current foxeer raceband Thanks so much.
