Default Anyone know the tooth count on the stock main-gear?

Horizon responded to this inquiry saying that the main-gear is 140T. that seems incorrect when the Lynx replacement gear is 136T.

I believe it is 136. I counted it by hand once with a marker.

If we are talking about BLH1901, the correct number of teeth is 135 (which is in line with the gear ratio stored in the Talon).

For those who only believe their own eyes (ticks every 10 teeth starting at 12 o'clock ccw):

I'm convinced - thanks. To confirm, you're showing the helical gear in the photo?

Yes, slant version. Comes from my 270 CFX spare bag bundle of two main gears (BLH1901).

I have no clue why Lynx added one tooth here for their upgrade. Uneven number of teeth is usually more favorable for consistent wear... - anyway, I still prefer the Lynx (Delrin?) version for much better run-out, both horizontal and radial.

I picked up several Lynx Delrin main-gears to address stripping of the BLH1901 on the 360 CFX under really hard collective maneuvers. So far I've never stripped the OEM gear on the 270 CFX, and not for lack of trying.
