You mean the power board at the bottom? just temporary for a couple of laptops to do some troubleshooting..

LOL.. I'm the manager of the DC's in APAC for my company.. so I can tell the engineers to clean it up if it gets to out of hand..

or you mean all the doors open on the racks?

thats part of the greening strategy.. close the doors and then we see power / cooling consumption go down.. the next steps will be harder..

But that's where my boss in the UK has given me the task of global virtualization stratgey for the next 3 years.. and hence why I'm up so late tonight.. talking to a colleague in the US for logging into their vCenters and storage arrays to pull out stats..

I've been aggressively negotiating prices on storage arrays and will spend about $1m in the next month on buying half a dozen...

Then I'll put forward to implement SDRS and DPM.. the next step in green initiatives

I take it that you work at one of the tech companies at Riverside Corporate Park? I live nearby in Chatswood. Do you fly at a club or at a local park?

Hi,

I work at Macquarie Park.. n live nearby.

Thinking about joining a club though.. Any suggestions?

I've contacted a guy from the warringah rc society.. and when I meet the guys from Hawkesbury model air sports at 3dx Australia they were pretty easy going.. Just approx 50minute drive to get out there using the m2 and m7.. So was thinking maybe something closer..

Cheers,
Anthony.

Did you get caught up with the mishap with the order of parts and kits coming into Australia?

What dealer is this? If the dealer is not helping you, they don't deserve to represent us and our products. Please dont' post this in public, but do send me a PM. This is unacceptable, simply PM me and let me know the dealer and the parts you're missing. Thank you.

Pretty sure SAB have already severed their arrangement with the AUS distributor, who has subsequently closed down.

IIRC they shipped kits directly to the dealers.

Thanks Bert..

I was a bit peeved earlier cause there was a supplier issue and I think Suzi or a SAB rep sorted it out..

As a customer though, i thought there was a huge lack of communication... Not SABs wrong doing..

Will PM you..

Cheers,
Anthony.

Thanks for the tip. For me, all right, but up and down the rock may be left.

is sab discontinuing the 500? i haven't seen anything new for it and the ones that are out there are far and few between. not a lot of options for a popular size heli.

SAB has officially discontinued the 500, whatever is left in stock from dealers is what is available. However, with this said, parts support is not going away, SAB will continue to support all parts indefinitely. It is also worth mentioning that some 570 parts work on the 500 and the 570 project is alive and well!
