Default Best way to remove clutch bell?

Guys, whats the best way to remove the start shaft and clutch bell? I have the 2 grub screw (in starter cup) completely removed but nothing seems to be budging and I don't want to destroy anything trying to force it out.

My nx7 one is good because I don't have many flights on it.

But on all other nitros this is an issue. Best way is to remove it and push it out with an arbor press.

Or you can cut it off with a dremmel, but that gets messy in a hurry too.

Either way, plan on getting a new starter shaft/cup.

Can you rotate the starter cup around starter shaft? That's what I've done in the past and then try to push the starter cup up by wedging a flathead screwdriver underneath the cup.

If that fails I try to tap out the top of the starter shaft. Chances are you will need to get some new bearings for starter block.

Starter cup is not turning independent of shaft. It's locked in there.

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind for the next time. For now I just decided to re-line the bell with it mounted on the airframe. Not as convenient to clean and epoxy a new liner in, but it was doable. BTW I hate ALL button head bolts. They strip out so F'in easy I'm stripping the frame down this winter and replacing EVERY button head on every heli I have. I use Scorpion and Hudy hex drivers so no it's not the tools. Had the same issue with my 700N so all button heads were replaced with a Lynx kit.
