Default TREX window mod + LEDs

I think Varc invented this- but here is my version. The LEDs are actually pretty bright, but my flash washed them out a bit. You can see the red and green nav lights and the white spotlight.

The canopy is made from the "window" that fits a TREX 450 canopy. It is cut down to look aerodynamic and forward-angled.

I used the MCX2 light kit + my own LEDs and my own wiring schematic. I drilled tiny holes in the side for nav lights, and mounted the whole thing with velcro straps.

The LEDs can be quick-disconnected as well using a locking connector.

It is one mean looking MQX. Now if only I can learn to fly it well.

Update:
This thing handles crashes really well. I was teaching myself how to really fly it and I've now planted it full throttle into the grass from 60-70 feet up (oops) and the canopy is great. Small cracks can be fixed with scotch tape on the inside and you literally cannot see them, because the canopy is not painted and it cracks cleanly.
