Default EFC721 - Blue cast

This is a video taken yesterday before sunset which supposed to be the good time to take pictures and video. As you will see there is always a blue cast as well as a blue lens flare The good thing is although is a fast and turning around video there are no missing frames. The video was converted by Quick Time Pro from AVI to Mov uploaded to iPad and edited in iMovie then uploaded to YouTube. I have the AVI file which has exactly the same blue cast. The reason I mention my workflow is to prevent opinions that the cast was created by the conversion.

Have you tried cleaning the lens? It looks like glare from a speck or smudge on the lens.

There definitely seems to be a defect in the lens.

Goto Applestore and search for video transfer. Download the FREE version of Simple Transfer- Wireless Photo & Video by Rambax LLC. Run it on your iPad. Follow the program instructions. It will allow 50 free transfers before it will ask to buy the Pro for $2.99. I love this app.

This first video was shot while it was cloudy out. The blue cast isn't as obvious. You notice it a bit in driveways.

Shot this one later at night when it got sunny. Blue cast very obvious.

So yeah you can see it here. There is even writing on the lens. Look like a number 2 and maybe an "N" its hard to tell.
