This is the first time I see mikado having a deposit on a new model instead of the msrp. I guess its a new trend. Since they are doing so good since the new logo 700 came out.

I love the new canopy as well. But that's the only thing the new one is offering me over my 550sx. Metal grips are just extra weight for me.

Its looks to be just aluminum blade grips, larger swash and feather shaft. I have not had a problem with any of those on my 550 so its a no for me. As far as the canopy, none of my other helis stand out in the air as good as the stock orange/blue canopies

They aren't SX anymore though. Given my 600 SX has a 690 gear train.. I suppose I already have half a LOGO 600

Mine has the full 690SX gear train, including OWB, front and rear pulleys with HTD 3M 1926x7mm belt. So I have a 1:5 main to tail ratio.

Remember you posting somewhere you sourced your belt, do you have the info off hand?

I'm assuming the new 600 will use 690 drive but with a proper length belt for regular 600 boom/control rod.
I have to sell an airframe and being able to run the 690 as a 600 length will make the decision a little easier. I guess ETA of May we should see parts listing soon(ish)

Anyone guesstimate how much the price would be on the new Logo's? Hoping its not to much. $100 more from the sx kits maybe reasonable.

above 6s.. is never good for a plastic frame on the 550-600er.. unless one enjoys to remove everything on each crash..

i crash 2 times on 600sx 12s.. after that i shrunk down to 6s .. as 12s always break the frame on a crash.. even a simple crash.

6s can last 3 -4 crashes before breaking the frame.. from my experiences..
