Default 1.8 naza firmware upgrade

been a while since i plugged my flamewheel 450 to my computer. i noticed a 1.8 firmware upgrade from 1.6, i clicked on upgrade and the bec beeped non stop, then it said please power cycle controller, does that mean the transmitter? i thought it had to be on in the first place!

Pretty sure the latest firmware is 2.2, the newest Naza Assistant software is 1.8.

You do not need tx to upgrade firmware.

Personally I re-calibrate every time I do a firmware upgrade though.

Me too. What I meant was that for the process of upgrading you do not need tx.

I am about to upgrade also. First time. Do I
delete my Naza assistant version 1.6 and then download the 1.8?

Yes download the new 1.8 software, from there you can update the firmware to 2.02
