Hi,

I'm going to change my Rave 450 3D for a Mini Protos. But I would like to use the motor and esc which were on my Rave.
For the ESC, CC Ice Lite 50, It's ok for 3S.

But for the motor ?? Any opinion. And if it is possible, which pinion should be used (14?)?

Sorry, Nicolas. You really can't use a motor with that high of a kv in the Mini Protos. Even with a 14T pinion, you'd have over 4000rpm headspeed at 100% throttle!

Stock motor is 2580kv, and that's about as high as you can go.

No problem using the ICE Lite 50, I've had one in mine and it fits fine.

yupp, the ice lite 50 is still a good choice, I tried using it before, it works great and it fits the bottom of the battery tray nicely, just go for the msh motor as it has been brilliant. worth every penny. cheers !
