Can some one please explain this further to me...

" 4. Spin it to see which the tail rotor blade is heavier.
5. Add a small piece of packaging tape to the lighter blade (place it in the center of the blade) If you’re very fastidious about this process you can roll the rotor blade over a small piece of music wire to find the chord wise balance then mark this for the exact placement of the tape when doing your balancing process."

For 4. So how do you tell which tail blade is heavier by spinning the tail shaft? A small video would be a thousand words here!

For 5. What is the chord wise balance? Pics would be great

No pics or videos to offer, but if you search the internet I'm sure someone has youtube videos on both.

On #4, The OP has you temporarily install the tail shaft and rotor assembly into the tail case without gears. This allows the tail shaft to spin freely in the TC bearings. When you spin the rotor, it may come to a stop with one blade pointing consistently down. That will be the heavier side of the rotor. You may have to tighten up the tail blade grips when you do this so that the blades are snug in the grips, and both blades need to be as straight as possible across from each other. Even if you balance the rotor assembly this way, I'd still check the balance with the tail rotor spinning at speed, further tweaking the tape as necessary.

On #5, chord wise balance is simply the CG of the blade. You take a blade and lay it across something round like music wire and play with it until you can (sort of) figure out where the weight center of the blade is. I wouldn't bother with this - just put the tape in the approximate center between grip end and the far end.
