Ok here are the exact measurements:

Align Main Gear = 36 grams
FAD Main Gear = 64 grams
(28 grams difference, which is about half the weight of a standard servo.)

Align Pinion = 20 grams
FAD Pinion = 26 grams

Thanks Miro! Really appreciate it. While I have had no problems in using the -1 gear as far as stripping, I'm not a huge fan of the tighter mesh between the gears. If I start noticing bearings going in the cltuch stack, maybe I'll make the switch over to the mod 1 gear set.

Actualy Miro you could cut down on the work and just give 6mm and 5mm motor shaft options with 2 set screws and foget the bottom treads on the pinion.

MOD 1.0 is not really suitable for E-conversions. The only option is using 13T / 116T for motors with low KV, like Neu 1615H/1.5Y (450 Kv). If we go to motors with higher Kv, like Scorpion HK-4035-560 or Hyperion HP-4035-560 (560 Kv) and 12S batteries, it's required 11T pinion, which is not good, otherwise 10S batteries with 13T pinion are to be used.

Seriously? They closed shop?

I did not know that Was a great product and Kevin would have gone through a lot more main gears otherwise!

Last I spoke with Miro, cost of producing the products was too high, pity I believe people would have paid the cost increase to get these gears.

Yep I agree... should have just increased cost to match...

My local hobby shop is very happy they bought a lot of these gears as guys running them will not be happy going back to stock! He is keeping a PRIVATE stock of them for himself....

Sent Miro a PM to see how he is doing. He was so nice to deal with last summer and worked with me on a custom pinion design. Sad thing for me is I have an amazing 13T pinion, but need a 11T version. Even with a 116T main gear, I still need to gear down. Maybe if Finless will share his source via PM, I can pick up a spare

I just killed the first Miro 115T main gear after about 1,5 years of use! The last months has been together with a Scorpion 4525-520 LE motor. Great gears!

It has been used in a T700N, T700LE-KDE conversion and a T700E with 4 crashes on it.
