Took her out for a spin today and was disappointed again. Not by the HC but by my Jive. Took it off TH and with the throttle on low it started to spool up. Not sure what is going on but looks like I will have to reprogram it and try again tomorrow. Tried my 500 as well and it was all over the place even after resetting all the programing in my 720. When I got home took it apart. Bent main shaft. That could explain my vibration problem. Had the part and rebuilt and reprogramed it again. Hopefully both will be ready for tomorrow.

tomorrow.

I had a helicommand 3d before and sold it, but at the time I had a trex 250, now that I have a trex 500, I am considering buying a helicommand unit again and selling my sk720 unit. I want something that has very good stabilization position and horizontal and I can't wait for skookum to release their gps unit anymore, so I think I'm just going to go with the helicommand. I was thinking about trying the rigid unit but with all the troubles I'm seeing with you and others, I think I'll go with the regular 3d unit again and set it up with a flybar. The gps unit addon for the sk720 does sound very interesting though when it comes out but who knows when that will be. Please let me know how your heli flies once you get the helicommand rigid up and running.

I've had my helicommand 3d on my Trex 500 for a good few weeks now and I have been dong flips and rolls with it and circuits. I can tell it is definitely helping me b/c when I turn off horizaontal stabilization I definitely can't do any of the things I can with it on. I tried doing a big loop with horizontal stabilization on and it didnt work out too well b/c it kept trying to restabilize my bird so it was more like a half loop then a flip, I'm going to try again this weekend but add some negative pitch to make it look more like a loop, although in the sim I don't have to do this. I'm really tempted to get the rigid version now since the 3d version is working so well and wouldn't mind the added benefits of flybarless.
