You just need to make two new holes 1cm lower on the front of the frame where the mechanics are mounted. It should be enough for testing and if the results are promising we can start thinking how to align the tail belt.
Not even winter yet...
For your entertainment...well, more for my entertainment.
From the crazy mind that brought you the retractable gear Urukay.
Nobody panic...I'm just having fun.
...and I won't be flying any FBF...just FFF.

Got into the building mode and decided to play with a stabilizer setup.
This will be an experiment with keeping the big airframe as level as possible in FFF for the least drag.
I thought of various locations but went with the most rear location I could get for good leverage on the tail boom.

What I don't know so far...
How big should the stabilizer be to be effective at high airspeeds but not low airspeed?
What shape should the stabilizer be?
Should the stabilizer have a reverse airfoil or be flat like the one pictured?
What pitch angle would work best...positive or negative...remember we may have to adjust for rotor downwash and not a level slipstream to get the proper downward push from the stabilizer.

My spar for mounting the stabilizer is very sturdy, light and I will give you extra points if anyone recognizes the assembly and what model heli it was taken from.

Flight tests should answer my questions.
I'll be lowering the front two screw hole locations for the transmission deck as Aris suggested as well.
Dream on.....
