Default Battery size for 700 with Scorpion 4530-540LE

I am converting my 630 to a 700. I will be using a 4530-540LE scorpion motor. I would like to get 4 minute flights at least. I fly a lot of different styles depending on the mood so versatility is important to me. I was planning to get 12s 4400 stick packs, but I'm beginning to wonder if I should go for 5000s. Anyone running this motor? I'l like to hear pinion sizes/headspeed combos/battery sizes if you have them.

Not sure how much this helps you, but I am using Pulse Ultra 12s5000mah stick packs and get 6.5 mins... but they do sit a little further forward than I'd like to get a good CG.

I am using the Quantum 4135-530kv motor which weighs 440g... but your motor weighs 565g so I would say you would do well with the same packs as they would sit further in.. like I wish mine did.

I run a 4530 540LE with a HJ120 18th pinion at 2050 HS and get around 4.30 out of a TP5000'S 65C 5mins if i go easy

BTW awesome choice your going to love it , run the HV servos ,you need them

definitely go the 5000's , the 4400's wont get there

I can get around 4 min of HARD 3d with that motor, and end up at 3.8 per cell. so 4:30 is even doable

I run the 45C Gens Ace stick packs and set the timer for 3:30 . Running 2150 and 2250 rpm.
This gets me to around 80% sometime more sometimes less, depending on how many full collective high speed stuff I throw in...would definitely go bigger than smaller when it comes to packs...
