Question Carbon Fiber Blades

Have any of you bought and used the carbon fiber blades offered by Hobby King? I just ran across them to night. I am not a 3D pilot [read - I will replace a few more sets]! I guess safety is the issue. Man they are selling them from $3.50 to $11.50 a set. The reviews (at Hobby King) seem pretty upbeat. Just wondering.

I've never had much luck with any of the cheap HK blades. If you want a good cheaper (and safe) option than the stock 450x cf blades I recommend going to the Align 325mm 3G fbl cf blades. You should be able to source these for under $20. I use them on one of my 450x's and they work great imho.

Like all blades, check/adjust their balance.

Cheers,
TomC

I've been running the black and yellow 325mm cf blades and the 335mm white pro 3D blades from HK with no issues. Two months, no problems. 100% flat tc.

All sets of blades were within 0.01g of each other. Variance in weight between sets was under 1g. Center of gravity for both types is in the middle.

They work ok for me, just some sport flying, loops, rolls, bad tic tocs and occasional inverted.
