Default Ikon with HW120 HV Question PLS

I just order'd a hw120h but now wondering compatibility with the ikon.
Just wondering if anyone can chime in if I'm going to have any or known issues especially running GOV from the ikon it's self.
Am I just being paranoid ???!!!!

Thanks Joliecoeur13
I have just spent some time reading up im exausted now , had to dig to find info.
I have read i need to get a servo to jst adapter to plug into the side of the ikon to the esc opto cable , does this make sense ?
I would disable gov from the HW esc and run gov from the ikon this way

any help/advise is appreciated very much

Tom

No, you do notneed to change servo connectos as long as they are either JR or Futaba type connectos. the ports on the sides of the unit are for a phase sensor and extra antennae.

I think you didnt understand my comment.
The harness im talking about is for governor, the harness feeds off of the opto cable to harness to jst to side of ikon ?

Oh, sorry about my misunderstanding. In that case, you need to do that. I used an extension DSM cable connector to plug in HW phase sensor.

you will need a RPM sensor , soldered on the motor leads ( or ESC) then make an adapter to go to the Gov port on Ikon .

disable the Gov in the ESC , calibrate the endpoint in the Ikon software and then re calibrate the ESC , I think , it's been a while since I did it ....
