To be more "correct".

Scott has informed us that the helis has left the factory in Asia, and they are expected to ship from the US on the 11th.

Did you pre-order one too, Buzz?

Peter

Because of the Chinese Lantern Festival this weekend, looks like I'll get my SJM-180(215) about the same time most of you guys will. I can't wait to get mine in the air!

A little late for that now, it's almost built, I was surprised. I honestly didn't expect this degree of quality in materials and design. There is virtually no plastic in this heli. I just assumed all the black bits on the heli were plastic, it's all metal. The only thing plastic ball links, paddles, main gear, and tail blades. Everything else is aluminum or CF. Everything has gone together very well. Gaui better recognize is all I can say. Nobody is going to pay for a Gaui when you can have this for almost half the money. Course all the quality in the world doesn't mean it will fly well or that I can fly it. We'll know soon enough.

Cool! I can't wait to hear what your first flight reports are!

The Asian distributor of SJM just delayed their shipment to Flying-Hobby, so I have no idea when I'll get mine now. Oh well, nothing I can do about it.

I ordered mine from Flying-Kit in the first announcement - it is with the courier for delivery today so finger's crossed. Mine will (I think) have the 180mm blades.

Mike.

Jet - let us know as soon as you have it in the air

We - "the whole world" - are dying to hear how it flies
