The problem with the xtremeheli frame is that the lower most bearing block isn't exactly lined up with the upper 2. This results in the main shaft being used to essentially straighten and true the frame. Definitely not ideal.

Well how far off are we talking, because using the main shaft to true up the blocks before/while the frame is buttoned up is totally par.

Is it? I haven't built a ton of kits but it just seems tight. it slides in with light to medium pressure. maybe .001" off.

Absolutely! This is considered THE way of building the frame, and quite often it's necessary for a drop in mainshaft.

I want to report that I purchased a set of frames from fastcpuser and am very pleased to say that they are absolutely awesome and highly recommend them. They arrived as 2.0mm frames in a matte finish, which is beautiful!, and came with stiffeners. I will be buying a backup set, they're that good!
