I loved the Banshee 700LE, but so far the Banshee 850 is looking like it will eclipse the 700.

For where my flying is head, not into speed, the B850 craps all over the TDR2, and probably any other 800 class on the market.
5.6kg heli with 12-killer wasp peeks swinging 810's = damn good times!

I admit - to me its still one of the most impressive machines. I have over 90 flights on it by now and enjoy every single flight.

Mine has a flying weight of 5129g with 4300 mAh 12s setup or 5368g with 5000 mAh 12s. For a machine swinging 813mm main blades ts simply impressive.

If your heli is not as big as these monsters, take a look at this cheap bag.
I think it's good relation quality/price

Default New banshee?

Fasster handed his banshee 850 #23 over to the master Kyle Dahl for a fly at the Heli Heatwave funfly in Wagga Wagga, Australia!
Kyle makes it move so gracefully, got it dialed in and moving beautifully!

Banshee 850 #23 Kyle Dahl (3 min 18 sec)

I reckon turning down your chance at a B850 was a mistake
I prefer it over the TDR2.
The only issue with the B850 is that Kontronik do not make a capable esc that can handle the B850.....

Potentially a mistake but once I get the Ultra Flash in the sky i'm sure i will feel better. It was a tough decision, but financially I could not do both at the same time.

I think comparing the banshee to TDR2 is not fair nor reasonable, TDR2 is built for mainly speed and a bit of smack. I think the only comparison is probably a diabolo. But I agree nothing touches the banshee.

Have fun!!

While I have both Banshee's and the 700 Diabolo, my feelings are the Diabolo has been my favorite machine to fly for a long time. it just flys so well I love it, while the Banshee's are just in a completely different class.
You really can't compare anything to a Banshee!!!

It's great to watch Mike's flights, smooth and controlled, a pleasantly good change from everyone else's erratic smack...

Chopsy, the Tribunis 300 will be a perfect match for this heli, with amp draw capping, you will get longer flight times out of the 4400's.

Yeah I sure am awaiting its release (slightly impatiently )
Until it comes out I'm relegated to a 20t pinion & 11degrees pitch, so boring flying at 1300rpm (though would be better if I had the skill for low rpm...)
