Default Nano barely lifting off of ground?

So everything was going well. Flew a few batteries last night, no problems.

Today, it doesn't want to get off the ground more than a few inches, just kind of bobbing up and down at full throttle

I tried 5 different fully charged batteries (one of which works well in my Wild BL Nano).
It's not flipping to one side which it did when one of the motors went out a few weeks ago (replaced with new one about 10 flights ago).

It seems like all the motors are working equally and full cyclic control is still there, just very little power.

Any thoughts?

edit: I've already checked for hairs, lint, etc… all good there.

I've found that faulty servos can mess with the nano ... Try cleaning if you have patience. Or get new servos. Last possibility that comes to Mind is a bad board

Make sure all the servos are working. One servo not moving up will keep the helis grounded.

Almost sounds like it has to be something simple...

Correct model?

TX settings have a nasty habit of changing from time to time, check your D/R's and servo travel limits

Hey guys, crazy fast responses… thanks

But… I'm talking about the Nano Quad (am I in the right forum??). So no servos.

I just tried rebinding and also going with the settings in the sticky above… problem still there.

Very strange. I guess it's possible all my batts went bad at the same time or my charger (or my brain) went bad…but probably not.

It really feels like there just is no power getting to the motors. Is it possible the that board went bad?

I'll order some new batteries and report back once they arrive and I try them.

LOL! I saw nano and thought nCPX. I'm blaming it on the phone. Too funny. Check for a bad prop or something hanging up around a motor.

I'd try creating a new model to rule out the corrupted model syndrome

Thumbs down

Had the exact same thing happen to me, it was a bad prop. Did you try changing them out?

Rule out the simple things, test the voltage of the batteries! Maybe your charger went to heck and ruined them all, not uncommon if using the Eflite charger! If all good then check the battery leads on the main board, the solder job could have failed.

If the blades are spinning fast and your barely getting off the ground, put the spare blades on and see how it goes.

Thanks guys for all the replies

I changed out all the props with new ones, no change.

I'm going to order some brand new batteries and try that next (although I don't think its the cause as at least 2 of them work ok in my Wild Nano heli). In the meantime, I will def check the wires and soldering.

I never thought it would be this hard to diagnose a problem with such a simple little device. I can figure out 99% of problems with ALL of my helis

Default 2 possible reasons

Hello,
I'm new here and have similar liftoff problem recently.
I think the problem is bad motor, I've had so many motors die on me on this first week with blade nqx, And whenever a motor would start to not work great (e.g. barely spinning, or yielding noise) - the thing would not lift of the ground.
Can't validate this, as right now, I'm waiting for spare parts.

Either that, or the throttle settings - need to change trimming, maybe full throttle is not enough for it.

No kidding, you would think it would be simple. I think when I start having issues I will just buy another one. It is the funist micro flier I have flown.

If it was a bad motor, it would flip over.
