Nice flying!!

I can't even fly a circle in the middle of a hay field without crashing.

Five batteries through the Nano CP X today. For me and my skill level it was a great practice session for me. Very enjoyable.

I haven't mastered making good videos yet, so here's a couple of moving pixels that at times resemble a CP X. If you squint real hard you'll see me practicing elevator flips mainly.

Very nice. The tail looks like it’s holding well during those front to back elevator flips. I noticed the same about adding some unwanted aileron during flips. It takes a lot of practice to eliminate that habit.

Default Post your Blade Nano CP X videos here!!

Thanks. Yeah this little heli is great. I really need to try to get the tail to misbehave. It definitely out flies me.

I’m getting better on the stick control. It’s weird that when I am nose-left then try a backflip I am very very bad (even worse than in the video above) at stick control. The heli swings about 30 degrees due to aileron input.

Practice practice.

So far I’ve been taking this out more often than the S2.

Today was not blazing hot so it was a nice day for a quick flight. Had a bit of a close call on the second circle during backwards flight

Chris that was a really nice practice. I like that you use your backyard features to your advantage.

Not sure what those little half flips you are doing are called, but they look pretty neat. Reminds me of a whale breaching. Modified piro flip? Or just piro flip?

And yeah, that WAS close. I’ve started wearing shatter proof sunglasses when I fly my micros for exactly that reason. I’ve come close too.

Thanks! There are so many obstacles it’s easier to practice flying around them lol.

The half flips around 1:18 are half piro-flips I’ve been working on. They are still a little messy but they have been getting a little more under control. I am by no means good at them yet. I mostly do sets of half-piro flips and then try to keep it the same altitude and not bog the motor. When I first started them I would end up half way across the yard trying to recover! It’s a blast learning on the Nano because after I crash I just keep right on going.

Default Another CP X practice session

CP X forward flight practice — check

A couple different transition types between upright and inverted — check.

Several harmless crashes — check

Poor cyclic stick control — check

Sun glare & and bad video clarity — double check.

All in all an okay video.
