I've never had any issues with the swash geometry on mine. The tail on the other hand is a different story. Long story short I had to try just about everything I could think of and then some and finally a little at a time it's now all sorted out.
Of course even with the tail sorted out mine has just been cursed. When I got the tail fixed the very next flight the pinion came off the motor while inverted. The biggest problem with the 250 is its really not a beginners heli even though it's so small. It takes about every trick in the book to get and keep one flying and can be a challenge. It can fly pretty sweet though when all the stars align. As far as a 250x version goes I would like to see the motor up top, a better belted tail, and 300g AUW right out of the box. I'm not sure I would go for another one though. Especially now that I have mine in the sweet spot. It's my only flying micro at the moment and will probably be the only one I keep flying.

Maybe I have a different model 250 DCF, but mine is the most tame and docile of all my helicopters except the T-rex 100. I could never detect any problems with the tail, other than the day the tail servo stopped working (replaced with a Savox).
The 250 was my first 'real' heli that had a FBL unit and I flew it for about 45 hours before its first crash. It seemed like it was immune from crashing. My T-rex 150 crashed all the time when I was learning and the 450L crashed 4 times before the first 20 hours of flying. An old friend from my airplane flying days e'mailed me to 'send it back and get a 450' when I indicated I had just ordered the 250. I went ahead with the 250 anyway and I'm glad I did. When I eventually got a 450L, I found the 450L to be quite a scary handful when first flying it. In fact I'm still getting used to the 450L's power and responsiveness.

I've kept my Gaui X2 very light and it is at 400g. I've kept my 300X very light and it is at 460g. The Oxy2 starts out at about 560g. (Flying weights). I like this size and I like my Trex 250. I'd be very interested in a 250X, especially if it were available without electronics. |

Trex 250 isn't easy to get under 300g AUW but it is possible. For a while I had mine at 267g AUW with a 800 mah battery and no canopy. I have since changed servos from ds 76's to spektrum 3050's and a 3060 and also went with a canopy again and it's sitting at 312.5g and flies really nice. That is with a align 850 mah battery installed.
I could get it down to 225g area if I went crazy with it changing out the motor, smaller battery, 180 servos, plastic canopy, and shortened up the wiring. Someday I may just go crazy with it and make an indoor version of the heli, but less than 300g it's not so much of an outdoor flier with the wind I get out in the desert.

But im still just outside the ideal control loop range, which means i must need the DFC swashplate. with the original FBL head and swash ive came acros quite alot of people being outside the range and some dfc people had the issue aswell but theproblem is so many threads just stop, either the problem got fixed and didnt report back or they gave up |

The OP says that the (rumoured) 250X will swing 250mm blades, which would make it a 250 size heli, about the same size as a Gaui X2, Blade 300X, or Oxy2, a fair bit larger (and heavier) than a Trex 250. Highly unlikely that (out of the box) it would be less than 400g AUW. |

I see where there was some confusion now. With 250 size mains it would be difficult to get under 400g. Especially considering it would need a beefed up head.
Keep in mind the things in the thread are all wishful thinking. It's hard to say what align will redesign after the 150x.

No, but you should learn how to spell or at least proof read what you are writing before you post it.

If you go and read some of his posts you'll see how hard they are to read cause of all of the misspellings and typos.
Oh, and by the way, what are quiet thighs? Lol!!!!!!
