Default Mcpx main board soldering

The big white battery lead has come off of the main board. I've tried to solder it back on but it won't stick to the board. Is there a special kind of electrical conducting glue to use?

Hard to tell from the pic, but it appears the copper foil is gone from the board resulting in nothing to solder the wire to.

I've seen a video of someone using some sort of foil/trace repair "pen" but the reviews claim it's a novelty item and not worth using.

The glue you see is most likely Elmers which is only used to help keep the wire in place.

Owe ! I see. I just hate to buy a whole new board. Maybe the local hobby store can fix it for me.

Megamicros does a fantastic job. When I flew micros I burned up a bunch of traces and mosfet's he repaired them perfectly.

You could try using a bridge some old wire and running it to somewhere in good condition on the board or send it in.
But it's not to hard to do yourself just expose a good part of the trace further down and solder a wire there.

If you want, shoot me a PM and I'll take care of it for you. Won't take but a few minutes to repair. Just cover shipping it back.
