With the features and the cost point of the 8FGS (14 channel radio), why would they want to do that?
With the 10FG you have no opportunity for future software upgrades (free downloads) and it's still only a 10 channel radio.

Your correct on price wise. Personally I like the way the 10CG feels and looks. As far as the 8FG feels cheap "sort of speak"

I have been waiting if there will be changes, according to you response, seems like it makes sense.

This the only rerason why I would buy a JR/Specktrum possibly the 9503 or the 11X.

Thanks for our input!

Agreed. It took me ages to cave in and swap my 10C for an 8FG but I'm glad I did. I got used to the feel and looks very quickly. The features are great.

Why would you want to go to the 9503 or 11X? The 8FG is actually a 14 channel radio.

Why would you want to overhaul it anyway? I find 10C totally perfect radio. For helis if you have 8 channel radio you are set to go. And fancy features like SD card and stuff? Nice to have i guess. Necessary to have? I doubt.

Imagine 10CG was firmware upgradable like 8FG with new software. Tthe 8FG had a couple of upgrades that enhanced that radio rather much. It is also nice to know any buggs can be corrected with new firmware.
You get nothing of that with 10CG. I think 10CG is a very good radio (two of my friends have it and they are very pleased with the radio) but it is just not as flexible as 8FG for example in that area.
