USB UART and Windows 10 setup help please

I have been sitting for months on a wizard 220 eachine. It's been beyond frustrating. I can't seem to get the divers to work what so ever. It's like every video I have ever seen skips a very important step. I have downloaded the latest cp210x drivers and the stm usb vcp drivers. The issue I see is that nothing shows up in my device manager. I have been beyond frustrated on this as there is zero documentation I can find and I'm a developer. It feels like this constantly. To make matters worse I have tried on a windows 7 machine and the same result. Nothing shows up in the device manager and I never have more than com 1 show up with cleanflight. At this point I feel like throwing everything in the trash because I would have the same result...

I feel your frustration. I finally got it all working last night after many hrs of trial and error and searching on the internet. I was trying with windows 7 and mac. Finally got the mac set up to work. I can try to answe your questions if you want.
