How is 30s compared to 180 CFX ? I know motor tail will not be same.
Power, speed and pitch angle with agility mode and wind handling? |

I never had a 180cfx so I don't know how it will compare. but I do know the swash and main rotor is the same as is on the 180cfx.
I also seen a post in the 180 forum they are bringing it back as a 3 blade with some upgrades |

The 180 leaves it for dead in that department, both in tail buzzing in the 130, which is a bit annoying and the 180 tail has complete authority and holds things in place better. The 180 feels bigger in the air, also its faster, but not by a lot. The 180 is stronger in a bit of wind. The 130s crashes WAAAY better than the 180! The 180 cyclic feels stronger and more direct/precise. The 180 sounds better, looks better.

The 180CFX I'd say is better in every way except for crash and my 130s doesn't have that much pop and more power upside down. I should check my pitch.
Little windy and my 130s is too small to fly well in the wind. My 250cfx and 180cfx is way better in the wind and the 130s gets blown around a bit. Low cost crash and down time is important especially practicing 3D. |

I agree with the above points but I think that the gyro on the 130S is better than that on the 180CFX. It seems to be smoother and more stable. It flies more like a uBrain 180CFX than a stock 180CFX.

My 250cfx is also smoother than my 230s. That could be servo orientation but probably gyro also. |
